TES and ADNOC Strategic Collaboration Agreement to Explore e-NG Production in the UAE and USA
TES and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced today that the two companies have entered into a Strategic Collaboration to undertake a joint feasibility study to explore e-NG production in the UAE and USA and to jointly establish both a domestic and export market for electric natural gas.
This agreement highlights the vital role the UAE will play in the energy transition, due to its Net-Zero ambitions, its geography and the amount of sunshine it gets, making it one of the most suitable locations for low-cost renewable solar energy.
As part of this agreement, the involved parties will seek to formalize a collaboration for the planning, development, and management of the joint e-NG production projects. Additionally, the parties will explore opportunities to expand the partnership in other geographies where TES is already establishing e-NG projects such as the USA.
“The ambition and capability of TES to work with the largest players in the energy sector demonstrates our commitment to fostering and accelerating the energy transition globally. Through the expertise and scale of ADNOC, a world-leader in the energy sector, e-NG is increasingly recognised as a feasible and proven renewable molecule which will help us win the climate race” said Marco Alverà, CEO and Co-Founder of TES.
