Amsterdam, 1 July 2026:
The Board of Tree Energy Solutions ("TES"), a global energy infrastructure company and leader in e-NG (electric natural gas produced from green hydrogen and biogenic CO₂), today announced the appointment of Clare Harris as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member.
The appointment comes as TES enters its next phase of growth, focused on advancing a portfolio of flagship projects through Final Investment Decision (FID) and delivering the infrastructure required to scale low carbon molecules globally. TES is currently progressing a platform representing more than 1.5GW of electrolyzer capacity serving markets in Europe, North America and Asia. The platform TES is building brings resilient, flexible, low-carbon energy such as e-NG to customers across markets at the pace and scale needed. Using infrastructure already in place, TES is accelerating the transition between today's energy system and tomorrow's zero emissions economy.
With the successful commissioning of the Wilhelmshaven 2 LNG import terminal, continued progress of the Jade Energy Hub in Germany, and the advancement of a portfolio of e-NG projects and partnerships towards FID, TES moves further into infrastructure delivery, capital deployment and long-term value creation.
Clare brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in large energy portfolios, major infrastructure investment decisions and the development of large-scale gas and energy assets across Asia, North America, the Middle East and Europe, having held senior executive roles in a global integrated energy major and a European green energy company backed by an institutional investor.
Marco Alverà will continue as co-founder, shareholder and Board member to advance the long-term vision and growth of TES and e-NG.
Marcel and Paul van Poecke, co-founders and co-chairmen, said: “TES has built a unique platform at the intersection of energy security, infrastructure and decarbonisation. As our portfolio advances towards FID and execution, we are delighted to welcome Clare as CEO. Her experience in capital-intensive energy infrastructure and integrated value chains, major investment decisions and international partnerships make her exceptionally well positioned to lead TES through its next phase of growth and delivery.”
Marco Alverà, co-founder and board member, said: “From the beginning, TES has set out to solve one of the most important challenges in the energy transition: how to decarbonise existing energy systems at scale while strengthening energy security, and we are proving that it can be done. Today we have a strong portfolio of projects, world-class partners and a clear path towards delivery. Clare brings a rare combination of strategic vision, capital allocation and execution experience, and I look forward to working closely with her as TES enters this next chapter.”
Clare Harris, incoming CEO, said: “The energy transition increasingly depends on the ability to build investable, scalable infrastructure that meets the growing need for energy whilst still accelerating decarbonisation. TES has built a uniquely positioned platform with high quality projects serving customers in every major market and exceptional partnerships. I am excited to join the Board, the team and our partners in the next phase of delivery and scaling to full potential.”
